Match the light to the housing
The bulb and housing must work together. MES checks whether a bulb swap will hold the proper beam pattern or the housing needs to change.
Wire it properly
The circuit, relay, fuse, ground, and switch are sized and placed for the load and how you will use it.
What's legal on the road
Illinois rules depend on the light's color, position, and use. MES will check the planned setup before recommending equipment for a road-driven vehicle.

Will LED headlights blind other drivers?
They can if the bulb, housing, or aim is wrong. MES checks the beam pattern and alignment instead of judging the upgrade by brightness alone.
Can I change the interior lighting color from my phone?
Yes. Compatible controllers can adjust footwell, door, or dash lighting from a phone. MES wires the system so it shuts off with the vehicle.
Is underglow legal in Illinois?
It depends on the color, location, and how the light is used. Tell MES the look you want and when you plan to use it so the current Illinois requirements can be checked first.
